    Great way of making lots and lots of gil.

    I found this very interesting and informative read on GameFAQ's, which made me very excited to level to around 50. With this strat you can make about 200,000 gil in a matter of half an hour (even less if you are higher level).

    Here you are:

    Alright, I posted this before, but it got deleted with all the new topics come flooding in. I'm posting it here again, and am gonna bump it every so often so it doesn't get deleted.

    Requirement:
    Lente's Tear. You need this so you can enter through the magic barriers in the Golmore Jungle.
    Head south in the Golmore Jungle until you get into Feywood. Once you get into Feywood, you will be in " The Feywood / Walk of Flitting Rifts ". There are two south exits; you will want to take the west one, which is " The Feywood / Walk of Dancing Shadow ". Head all the way south and then to the east, so and zone into the next area, which is a 'safe zone' with a blue save point crystal. This map is called: " The Feywood / Antiquity's End ".

    When you pasted the southern part of "Walk of Dancing Shadow", you probably killed a few of the Mirrorknights. These are the guys that you will be chaining. Locate and get a general sense of where they are, and what you will be doing is circling the southern part of this map killing all the Mirrorknights. I prefer to do a clockwise run, starting at the bottom of the map and going around. Below are the spoils:

    Mirrorknights - CHAIN x 95

    Windslicer Pinion x 99 = 113,652 GIL
    Mirror Scale x 7 = 13,664 GIL
    Wind Crystal x 46 = 7,360 GIL
    Aries Gem x 3 = 450 GIL
    Mirror Mail x 19 = 76,950 GIL
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
    TOTAL: 212, 076 GIL

    Total time: 23 minutes

    = = =

    Your time may vary, since my guys are at level 68, but when I originally posted this I was only level 50, which is plenty good enough to kill these guys. I have two warriors equip gambits:

    Self -> Haste
    Self -> Bravery
    Self -> Berserk

    And I control manually the 3rd party member. I also have everyone equipped with the 'Cat-ear Hood' accessory which you will get later in the game from the Bazaar, to make things go even quicker. There are many expensive things you may want to buy with the GIL, including all the Monographs, the Canopic Jar, Armor and Items for all your characters, expensive Spells, etc. One important use for the GIL later on is the 'Throw GIL' technick, which becomes very useful for some particular boss battles.

    Another thing you might want to buy from the Bazaar is the ' Nihopalaoa ' , which reverses effects of items, such as potions. Niho + Phoenix Down = Instant Death, on any ally, but that also includes enemies. It won't work on bosses or marks, though, but Remedy works just as well if you filled up a lot of the Remedy skills on the License board, you can inflict all sorts of negative conditions on bosses. There are probably other places where you can make lots of money, but after getting Lente's Tear, this is one of the best.

    -Kairi

    Someone test this and confirm.

    Endo, I'm looking at you! (Since you have high enough characters.)

    A little help for the lower lvls.

    As soon as you need to go to the Lhusu Mines, you can make a lot of money with Bone Fragments from Skeletons and Skull Defender on the 2nd Bridge in the Zone.

    There are like 50 Skeletons spawning everytime and one Bone Fragment gives you like 200 Gil~

    Very fast way to earn money on the low lvls and besides a nice lvling spot too.

    And you should lvl a bit if you want to beat Rocktoiz w/o using a Quickening Combo XD

    Is Feywood past the zone all the way at the bottom of the Henee Mines map?
    I only have 3 lvl 33's, but with 3 Deathbringers + Zerk + Haste, so don't think it should be a problem.

    Alright so, I'm here with my level 37-39 characters and I must say this place fucking owns. The mobs aren't that hard at all, but sometimes you have to take on 3-4 at once. They generally always drop either a wind crystal or a pinion.

    The only thing this guide doesn't say, is that if you're a curious cat like me and go into the area AFTER the save point, there's a boss. I somehow managed to beat it, but nevertheless watch out!!

    Anyway, this is win. Anyone with a decent party can do it.

    30 minutes about...when you get to the area you understand why. They're ALL in this little circle, and you just run in the circle and fight them, zone two zones away (takes like 2 seconds) and run back and continue the chain.

    If you just want gil, that same guide also mentions stealing bomb shells from the bomb king, which can be done at a lower level.

    And isn't there a true unlimited chain area where you don't even have to zone? I think I saw something about that the other day.

    There is a hidden path in the nubias deadlands area (I forget the exact name) where you will find a shrine for a later quest involving a medallion (no spoilers) you can get up to chain 30 ish going up to the shrine as you are coming down they will be repoping I got to 82 and got bored but I dont think you need to zone there.

    I used that spot to level my charecters to 58ish. Found it while i was doing one of the marks. After about 28 of them pop, repop starts becoming really slow. So the best way to use that spot is to clear the zone right next to it so that the banshee doesnt break your chain while you are zoning to make them repop. It's a good spot to berserk/brave your charecters and one shot to get exp but it's not that good gil wise since they drop blood bones and ancient bones pretty rarely even with Lv4 chain.

    I zoned 2 zones away (took 15 seconds maybe) and zoned back in and next bird I killed, lost my chain, this occured several times.

    You by chance touching the save crystal? I never had any problem getting them to chain ~90 when I'd cap out on the pinions.

    If you touch the save crystal you automatically lose the chain.

    I found this on gamefaqs not too long ago. It's centered more around gaining exp/LP while not actually playing than it is for making gil. I haven't tried it because I like to pretend I'm still the one in control of how my characters exp.

    Name : Negalmur (340)

    Drops : Dark Stone, Vanishga Fragment, Olgin
    Steal : Capricorn
    Original : Nightwalker
    Rare Rank : *
    Location : Stillshrine of Miriam
    Appearance : In Defend of Sword King which is the corridor at West from Save Crystal (go bottom from Save Crystal), kill all enemies there, exit and re-enter. Sometimes those giants enemies will spawn again, make sure clear all of them.

    Now go and find Negalmur using the above posted guide, once you encounter him he will do one of 3 things:

    1. Attack you, that is ok this is why your party heals itself.
    2. Drain your MP to 0, this is ok 2 because you are using charge over and over agene.
    3. Summons Ghost, this is what you want

    Now because you have all of the characters with attack Foe with 3000 HP or less they will ignore Negalmur who has 18k HP and attack the Ghost he summons who have 2500HP at the most, so you will ignore Negalmur healing an waiting until he summons his minions. I have tested this up to 40 spawns (it was 2am I needed sleep)
    This guy also had a gambit system set-up that would let your characters level themselves for a while. Somebody improved it and made this:
