Mamool Bane, Troll Bane, etc

I remember reading a thread last year when these items were introduced and could not find it with search, sorry in advance since this is old information...

Under what areas/circumstances do the latents on these items work? I threw my third Tiphia Sting the other night, and since I mostly stick to exp in Bhaflau Thickets - mostly try to go to the place where I won't name that has squishy things all over the place; or when its crowded in Thickets Mt. Z. on Trolls. So my question is, do the items work in their respective areas? (Mamool Bane in thickets, Troll Bane in Mt. Z). Trying to figure out if its even worth it for me to get another sting or not for my Mnk when I exp in those areas or if the items would be better to use.

Don't be so fast to dismiss them. I love my Lamiabane truely. But I keep a Phantom Tathlum on hand too for if I ever leave the ToAU areas.

Its only 4k points so its a good idea to invest in one of the banes.

Just tested Lamiabane in Mount Zhayolm, the MAB+2 does NOT work.. lol.

Trollbane prolly only works in assault for Lebros
Lamia prolly only works in Reef zones
Mamool only in Mamook <.<

yea, pretty worthless piece though, guess it can be used for Dynamis pulling or something at least.. haha, I never exp in Reef, Halvung or Mamook on BLM so yea
