    Ar Tonelico

So I just picked up this for my fiancee as part of a valentines gift (yea, she's cool like that)

Aside from the terrible voice acting it seems fairly cool (I really like the objective function of the save menu)

Anyone further or beaten this game? She's right at the start and wants to know if it's worth playing through all the way (we both do, since we have other games to play and the new sonic for PS3 to play together lol)

Toss me some reviews if you have time, we'll both appreciate it.

I need to get her to start posting here.

Oh god, the 360/ps3 version of the Sonic game absolutely stinks... I really hope the Wii game will be better.

    I <3 this game.

Right now im in 15hours and I personally am enjoying it more than FFXII. The 14h mark is a very hard part, but since both you and youre wife are playing it will really make this game much more enjoyabe. I cant really go in to much detail, but basiclly there are two stories, and you have to pick one. I have to replay it twice (from a certian point), but since both of you are playing, it makes it easier to make 2 saves.

If youve ever played Atelier Iris, this game kinda resembles it at the start, but it grows a lot.

Im really enjoying the battle system too. Another good thing about this game is that it focuses on the story, you start off at lvl10 and gain them with ease, so theres never a need to power lvl, but the mobs arnt always a push over either.

The dive system makes this game even more enjoyable, if you think about it this game has about 5 different stories going on at once.

It may not be the best RPG ever made, but in the dry spell were in now, its the best available, and even if there were other RPGs out, id pick this one up.

    Id give it a 7.9/10

Rogue Galaxy is so much better than this game, its an action rpg very similar to the Dark Cloud series. Ar Tonelico's story seems cool and all but I just can't seem to enjoy it.

Awesome, only problem for me playing it is that yesterday while I was at the mall I decided to go exploring for another copy of FFT (mine has a scratch in it and wont load Sweegy Woods ) So I walk into an EB, ask for FFT and the guy goes 'here, we're not supposed to have this, merry christmas' and gives it to me.

So I've been involved in FFT for the 99th time, letting her have the PS3 and Ar Tonelico while I find a 99th ridiculous job combo to beat this game with (5 bards ftw)

I'll pass on this info to the fiancee though, I'm sure she'll be relieved

    Edit:

Someone fill me in on Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy (yea I know DC is epically old but I've never played it) thanks
