What happened with Krabakarpo?

The first shark run we did, we failed because a MNK didn't use formless strikes on the Faded Crab NM, the second run we failed because we kept hitting Krabakarpo for 0 damage even though all the MNKs that I noticed used formless strikes. What the heck happened? I'm tired of losing to this and especially when we don't even make it to the shark.

you need mura or requiescat for krabakarpo, formless doenst cut it for it usually 10% of its totally HP has to be taken away via mura WSs or requiescat.

What we used to do before we had Mura SAM, the monks would use formless strikes (with relic body augmented) and Rune Enchantments from the start, WS @ 50% then ride out formless until it wears off and then freely WS and TP it. It would kill it, but it took a couple minutes longer. Now we have a Mura SAM as well as the two COR and PLD Requiescat it which considerably speeds up the process.
