Sidekick LX Available Today

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. The new T-Mobile Sidekick is available for purchase today 10/17/07. It's $399.00 w/o upgrade and $299.00 if you have an upgrade available or sign a new contract. It's available in brown and blue, I ordered the brown one this morning. Order came w/ free shipping as well.

If you want one hurry up and order it online before they're backordered. T-Mobile still hasn't passed out the notification emails to the customers who signed up for the waiting list, once those go out these are going to sell really quick.

I got the razr2 instead... not big on sms messages anyways, and I was sick of my broken razr in the first place, yet I still liked the design of their fliptop and the new one is much faster in processing stuff than the old one was, so it'll work for me ;p (plus it actually looks good now lol..)

Whats so great about the LX? Like what new or improved features does it have?

Cause the way I see it, It's still a T-Mobile phone, and it would need a hell of alot to make up for that.

There's a ton of new shit. The sidekick is more of a love it or not phone. I've had the Sidekick II, III, and now the LX and I love them. It's got all the functions I need on a PDA, but I don't feel like an old business man when I am using it elsewhere lol.

Cause the way I see it, It's still a T-Mobile phone, and it would need a hell of alot to make up for that.

My entire company uses T-Mobile, so does my family. They have by far the best customer service and I have never once had a problem with their product. I think the T Mobile Wing got some shitty reviews b/c it was slower than shit, but I think they patched that and fixed it somehow.

Go online and upgrade through the website. I just noticed only current T Mobile Customers can get the phone now. Also, if you order it online you pay nothing for 3 Day Shipping, and you don't have to pay for the phone till your next billing cycle. The physical T Mobile stores probably won't have it till the 24th, which I think coincides with the public release date.

Probably area based then. I don't know anything about the customer service but I do know the service is aweful in my area. If they could change that then they'd probably be able to sell me a phone.

I just called my local T-Mobile store.
The phone is actually not available until the 24th. If you order your phone/pay for it online, they'll ship it before/on the 24th. If you already have sidekick service, you're account is already flagged with a possible upgrade option ($299) to the LX, so the lady told me.

I just sold my SK3 on craigslist for $245, so horray to a brand new phone for $50.

Just tracked my shipment......

T Mobile sent it Next Day Air for no charge (Instead of Free 3 Day shipping)! My phone should be at my house by around 2pm.

So pumped muahahahahhahaa.
