Question about 360 controller on PC

Has anyone used that USB thing so you can use your 360 controller on your PC? If so, I was wondering if it's possible to use the 360 headset for shit like Ventrillo.

I have the dongle, works flawlessly with my controller, albeit the included (useless) software for it sucks (for instance, it for some reason pisses off FFXI on full-screen mode), so delete it and just keep the drivers if you ever get it.

As for whether it works with headsets, I've not yet actually tested that for the ones that plug into the 360 controller, but I can confirm the wireless ones do work with the thing.
(the dongle from what I've seen acts as a hub for multiple devices that get recognized as USB HIDs in WinXP)

Main nuisance I'd find with the wired one is keeping the 360 controller on if you don't use it in any games.

As far as I know it doesn't and you dont want it to. Pretty crappy mic when it comes to quality. Just get a nicer usb headset.
