easynews

i was wondering if anyone else uses easynews instead of torrents or other sources of downloads.

a friend of mine told me this was one of the better options for low bandwidth users but i am having trouble making good use out of it.

i have been able to find alot of the music that i have been looking for but i want to try and simplify it so its easy for my wife to use.

can anyone give me some tips on how to better use this service?

I use giganews, but all usenet is the same anyway. I posted some info about it in a wii modchip thread before so you may have to dig it up...

There's nothing 'simplified' about Usenet but easynews sure does most of the work for you. Google up QuickPAR for your set parity needs and learn to love easynews's tools for viewing parity sets and queueing up zipfiles of what you want so you can separate browsing from downloading.

I leeched off of a friend's easynews account for a while. It was fucking awesome . He had something like 500gigs of bandwidth accumulated so I just filled up my extra HD with movies.

giganews is awesome. I get 2 mb/s downloads with it on my shitty wireless internet

i use usenetserver.com and to make full use of it, newzbin.com is awesome
