Anyone else have a broken Wii and can't play SSBB?

Yea, my Wii hates me... Got my Brawl a day late, got home put my disc in, and the screen sat there with nothingness... I cried, I screamed, I drank heavily!

Luckily, Nintendo had already found out about it, and is trying to relieve the few who had thier happiness destroyed by a "dirty laser". Had to send it to Nintendo in WA, but they paid shipping, and are fixing it for free. Had to send it my SSBB disc too though. Hopefully they make it back before Easter

you can at least take comfort that nintendo has an excellent customer service department. during the summer I had to send them my wii because the motherboard was fried. they paid for shipping, sent me a brand new console, and it all took like 10days tops

Amen to that.. It looks like it arrived at their facility on Friday, and is shipping back to me today! It's funny though, they still refer to the Wii as the Revolution internally:
