Supposed Gillsellers leveling: What would you do?

So, I'm at work farming bullcrap items for crafting in Garly, i'm targeting beetles. ** While i'm doing this, a group of anon, linkshellless, meh equipment Humes and Taru's comes in and starts targeting stuff at banishing gate #1. All of them have either "Treasure house ransacker" or "Tenshodo Member" as a title.

Yes, my work computer sucks. Lower graphics = less connection issues over RDC.
Anyway; what should I do? None of 'em respond, and I'm fairly certain calling a GM will result in absolutely nothing. I could destroy every monster in this zone that they can kill, but I hesitate to do that.


**If you really want to know, its because I'm at work and its easy and mindless work; plus the supply of shells on the AH is sloooooooow.

Grab a beetle that pops near their camp.

Hold it where it pops, but aim it down the hallway, wait for their puller to go past, leave the beetle casually, watch the humor.

Takes a little bit to get the hang of it, but boy is it fun when it works. :D

What i've done in this case is just report it in the STFU box with what you saw and why you think its RMT.

Worst case is nothing happens, most likely case they are added to the radar and get 'checkups' every now and then.

"Spotted characters leveling together at X at Y time. Suspect all are being controled by the same person and are being leveled for RMT purposes"

Check up on them from time to time, it adds a bit more weight when you can say you've never seen them unpartied or in a different zone from the others in the group.

In the end I decided to write the names down, STFU them, and just warp once I got full of beetle shells. I'm confused if they're really RMT or not after seeing one of their AH history (The first 2 that I checked have no history whatsoever)

That's probley the best thing to do. The STF does a very very good job of getting people who are reported to them.

Your graphics settings have absolutely nothing to do with your connection what so ever lol.

Honestly, the STF rocks, I haven't seen an RMT leveling party in a long long time, haven't seen em in Sky in the months I've been living there, don't see em in WoTG zones.

Still like to toss em an MPK for old times sake though, and seconding the Graphics =/= Connection speed bit.

You aren't being sent the entire picture, you're being sent information telling your side what to display, where and when to display it, and what state it is in.

No but my 1600*1200 desktop might not look so good on my 800*600 work space. Its easier just to run it in NES mode anyway, if someone walks up I can minimize it quicker / pretend i'm looking at screenshots.

Yea, I'd do the same if I was at work. I'd run it at 640x480 256x256 for quicker hidemode!

I was leveling in Yhoator a couple of months ago and ran across a party that seemed like RMT based on names, lack of linkpearls, and gear. One of the party members, who sucked at English, called a GM. The GM appeared and talked with the party member. I can't remember what exactly happened to due to party member's crappy English when describing the events but I think the GM told him to report the suspected RMTs to the STF. It was cool to see a GM first hand.
