Unless you're worried about old data being recovered or something, you don't need a utility to do it. Windows/Mac/Linux installation discs all come with built-in options to format a partition prior to installing the operating system on it.
If you are worried about the data being recovered, try Eraser, it's listed in the apps/utilities thread in this section.

Good program, can wipe multiple times if set correctly.....just takes a long ass time.
