Summerfest 2008

The summerfest 2008 is here.

There are 3 NPCs. The prince, princess, and a female in clamming suit she is supposed to distract the prince.
Follow the prince and princess.

When the princess has doubts about herself or him, shake your head at her!
When she seems positive about him, nod at her!
When you see the clamming suit lady in the distance, leave the prince and princess, run up to her and wave at her!
She will respond "What!?" , stand in a position where she looks away from the prince!

If she runs up to him and talks to him then you have to slap the prince and knock some sense back into him.
Both will proceed on their way. The clamming suit female will probably pop up 3-4 times.
repeat the above procedure.

Once they stop they will talk about never forgetting this meeting bla bla ..
Talk to the princess , she will give you your reward.

REWARDS:

sprig of red bamboo - in Sandy ( large )
sprig of blue bamboo - in Bastok ( medium )
sprig of green bamboo - in Windy ( small )

all sprigs are furnishing they add Storage +2 and Darkness element.

Dispense : Muteppo (x 99)
reload time 168 hours

Otokogimi Yukata ( HQ Yukata )
Dispense : Datechochin (x 99)

Can all be traded to the event Store NPC since these are old items.

Has anyone gotten new items from the summerfest 2008?

There's nothing new at the moment. The 'sprigs' are actually from summer fest v1 last year, which failed horribly across most servers. It involved the community linkshell site & writing poems. 2 guesses why it failed, if you need anymore your

The other half of the 'reward' was there where moggles that would teleport you to/from any city > > THAT part was awesome but not announced. Most servers didn't unlock the rewards until days, if not a single DAY before the event was over.

Yeah, Summerfest is usually at the end of July/beginning of August (because that's when I go on vacation and miss most of it everytime >.o).

Those 2 fireworks are always sellable, so I would venture yes.

Just a note about the fans that you can recieve, it is a random number of Summer Fan/Festive Fan, not strictly 25 Festives... I have recieved 5-25 Festive, and the bugger's won't give me Summer Fan, but a friend has gotten 10-25 Summer and 5 Festive (one or the other each time, not both i mean)
