Buddy Passes or Keys?

Ok first off I havent played wow in a longtime, like 2 yrs, so im pretty much a newb and my play extent wasnt long. How does buddy passes or keys, what you call them work? Im looking to start playing again and unsure how this sytem works, maybe I could help someone get some perks or something, anyone care to explain?

There is a thing called Recruit a Friend in which you obtain a new unique mount (Unicorn Zebra!) and get triple-exp while you level with a friend.

How it works pretty much is you get a friend to refer you to the game and so you open a trial account. Once that trial account reaches level 20 or its limited game time you can opt to pay for two months in which you become an official WoW account and you reap all the benefits like the triple-exp, free mount and the ability to level yourself up for every two levels you gain. : p

Recruit a Friend or Scroll or Revival.

Scroll of Revival just lets you use your old account, RAF has you create a new account after someone sends you an invite, you create your account, and the accounts get linked, while the two accounts are leveling together & are below 60 you can gain triple exp from mobs and quests summon eachother once per hour. when you buy game time, your recruiter gets a free month(1 month) & zevrah mount (2 months).

Unlike FFXI, any class works, and can work, just as well as any other class at any particular role they can perform (until you get to super super super endgame and start shaving stats like paying out the ass for +1 agi type of stuff)

But really, just whatever appeals to your particular playstyle you can do and be successful at in WoW

edit: also, if you (or anyone) wants a buddy pass i've got 2 of them and I'm sure my roommate won't use his so that's another 2 i can toss in there, just send me a pm and i'll send you one
