Which games do you play beyond the new releases(and rentals). MMOs need not apply.

For me it is MGO and right now SSFTHD.

I usually always play 2-3 hours on my Playstation on any given day and it is usually split between these two.

I've probably played a good 127ishish games of baseball on MLB:07 The Show, all games going anywhere from 45min-1 hour. Best MLB game I have played Yet. Also playing Madden 08 NON STOP, somewhere around 56 games there.

Rock Band/Rock Band 2, a lot. I still play Fifa '06 (too lazy/cheap to update >_>), and Tecmo Super Bowl a fair bit. Also trying to convince myself to replay Avernum 2 for the nth time.

Almost all of my time is taken up by playing new releases, which leaves me little time to play things for fun. However, some of my ol' reliables are within the Mega Man franchise, the Sonic series, and the occasional indie downloadable. Once in a rare while, I'll fire up a Sega Saturn game, or use an emulator to play something older.

I used to visit arcades, but that's not an option where I currently live.

I don't have money for new releases, and the only console I have is a Wii, so I usually end up playing Mario Galaxy/Brawl/No More Heroes for console games. On the PC I download lots of classic titles like Fallout 2 and Planescape: Torment, as well as others like the Touhou series. I only have Perfect Cherry Blossom and Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. For ROMs the last game I downloaded was Chrono Trigger, which I am playing right now for the second or third time. I also have Mother 3 to truck through, but that is a sort of new release for the english speakers.

RB2 and GHWT basically keep me going between game releases... That and Fifa/nba 2k games here and there.

I really don't have time at all to play atm, my classes, job, and rl are getting the best of me. However, whenever I wanna play a quick game, I play:

That'd be like a 30 min game session lol.

I play 2-3 games of MLB 08 the show a day, ESPN 2k8 a few games, and w/e new release for the week unless its a game like fallout 3 which ive been playing a few hours a day. At night I play Resistance 2 with my clan.

Usually shmups, don't just Touhou but things like Hellsinker and ExCeeD 2nd Vampire. I try for a 1cc usually otherwise I just mess around practicing.

I've actually picked FFXII back up.. want to finish all the hunts, fuck I hate being a completest. That can take an hour or two before I get bored.;

Also KH2, I'm on 99% completetion and all I need to do is finish the last Hades Cup or w/e it was called, the like 100 matches or some shit. This can take me about 45minutes before I get bored of constantly getting beat.

Then, I dunno. I need new games. Q_Q

I attempt to stay stocked up on new releases so that I'm not constantly burning myself out on the same couple games. The only thing that's become any sort of routine at this point is AC:CF.

I keep myself busy with new releases(backlogged by over 30 right now >.>) and when there's a rut in worthwhile games go back and do completion runs on the games that aged really well in my mind.

KoF '98 UM, KoF XI, and Culdcept are my typical stand-by games.

I usually play one game at a time, and also usually have one sports game to play as well. For example, right now I'm working my way through Fallout 3, but I also have NCAA Football '09 that I play as well.

I usually stick to one game at a time buying them when I am done with the last. Though lately I have been playing one game alone and one co-op game with my friend.

Dead Space - moving through it very slowly on hard.
Gears of War 2 - playing co-op with friend when he comes over.
Also playing C&C RA3 though not as often.

I usually squeeze in 1-2 hours every day when I get home from work.

Fifa 2009, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, Football Manager 2009 and Oblivion(god this game has the best reply value in current generation). I play 1-2 of these for a couple of hours everyday.

I tend to go from game to game, although occasionally in a downtime I'll revisit FFT or Fallout or just some random game from my library for a little bit. If I'm playing any kind of MMO that usually fills a bit of time as well.

I was trying to play Fallout 3 but my computer won't let me.
So basically I'm back to CvS2.

NHL 09 is what I play the most between releases. Sometimes I'll do some old snes roms on the PC, ranging from stuff like Gradius III to DKC2 and everything in between. Also love me some Ikaruga.
