Previous Linkshell: BushidoX (Ifrit server; JP/NA Endgame LS - HNM/Dynamis/Sea/Sky/Einherjar); BlackRoses (social); CrimsonHearts (dynamis/limbus/salvage LS); other social linkshells as well but I can't remember the name of all of them.

Reason for leaving: BushidoX broke up 6 months ago after the leader of the LS quit the game. Shortly after that a few of the LS members tried to reform under a different name, Karasu, but by then it was too late because the majority of the members had applied elsewhere. Since then I've been doing dynamis, limbus, and salvage with CrimsonHearts. The reason I left the server is because a couple of my real-life friends recently started playing on this server. The majority of the friends I had on Ifrit have quit the game. Therefore, I haven't really left any linkshells, other than CrimsonHearts and I left them on good terms. BushidoX was my first HNM LS and I was very loyal to them. I had a lot of fun and experiences that I will never forget.

Why are you applying to iiZerg?: Basically, I've taken the time out to visit the main websites for most endgame related linkshells on this server, and found yours to be the most appealing. I like to be involved in all endgame related activities and your LS seems to participate in everything. I like to challenge myself and show of my jobs and how good I am at playing them. While gear is nice to have, I have lots of nice gear already so the prospect of getting gear is a small perk compared to the overall experience. If I'm not involved in something on here I get bored. This LS has events scheduled for every day of the week, plus HNM inbetween. I also agree completely with the rules and sense mature leadership, which is so important when it comes to leading endgame stuff.

Just give me a chance. I know there's this stigma associated with cross server applicants, but I'm not up to anything fishy; I'm not trying to take advantage of you guys, or just just make money off the LS. I haven't done anything bad like steal or hack accounts. Sure, I've been involved in my share of drama in the past, but who hasn't. I'm very honest and I will answer any questions you have. I just want to be a part of this LS.

I made this account specifically to defend this guy because he's a friend of mine; people are attacking him like vultures and things need to be set straight. First of all, he left the server about a year ago and at that time he was in some JP LS, although I guess they accepted Americans too. Events were usually held very early in the morning, around 2:00 AM. 6 months later he came back but the LS disbanded like he said. I don't know about any Crimsonhearts.

Next, I want to direct your eyes at this guys profile on FFXIAH.com:
Maikeru - Caitsith - FFXIAH.com. The only thing this Maikeru and that Maikeru have in common is "some" merits. Now obviously, this guy could've gotten all this nice gear + leveled SCH/WHM/BRD/PUP/DNC + merits for those jobs in such a time. And if this person was banned like you said they were, then they wouldn't be able to play unless it was a different account, setting him even further behind. So cut the bullshit trying to accuse this person of being some asshole on Cait sith.

Also, please understand the definition between loot whore and AH buyer. Obviously if someone has a job at 75 they are going to want to have nice gear for it since they will be asked to play it (and regardless of what people gear does help out considerably). Looking over this guy's gear you'll find that most of this stuff is either bought from AH, exchanged using ampoules from einherjar, salvage or nyzul isle gear. Most of his jobs are also considered lol-jobs that no one wants gear for anyway. The most expensive item this guy has is a sha'ir manteel, which is cheap compared to what it used to be and can be easily gotten from any good HNM LS that fights ouryu, bahamut ver2, or vrtra. Another thing to consider is that obviously this person was trusted and invested their time somewhere for a long time or else they wouldn't have obtained so many pieces of rare/ex gear that requires lots of people to obtain (i.e. einherjar, salvage, nyzul isle, bahamut ver2).
You could say he might have more items than what he's showing, but wouldn't that just hurt his application. What happened is people saw all this nice gear (which is only nice for those jobs. Other jobs wouldn't give a shit) and figured he obtained it by means of screwing someone over. That's a lot of damn screwing over then, especially when he could've just as easily been kicked from the alliance for ninja lotting and consequently kicked from the LS. And seriously the only way someone gets away with ninja-lotting is from either being the leader or dynamis. Who says you have to give him leadership?

Therefore, seriously stop and think about the application before coming on here expecting answers. 5 or 7 damn people aren't going to know everyone on their server or every LS. Furthermore, not everyone on the game comes here or even has access to the internet. What you've done is go on here and totally disrespect this person who has only asked for a chance. He has nice merits, which further show his dedication to bettering himself which only makes things easier for a LS. Now everyone knows he is a server transfer and they think he's shit. He told me he was seriously wanting to try this again and be part of something great, but now he just feels like quitting for good. Also, from what I hear you told him your LS is "full" and his application was denied. So why are you posting this here? You trying to find trash on someone you don't even know? As far as I'm concerned, he's better off without your LS.

If you really want to know the truth about this guy, here it is: this guy is one of the hardest working guys on here that I have ever met. He is skilled at playing all of his jobs and plays with so much dignity; respectful and intelligent. At times I think he takes things way to seriously and is way too mature, but who would you rather have in your LS someone who doesn't take anything seriously and is always playing around, joking, and not following directions, or someone who is dependable, hardworking, knowledgeable in all aspects of their jobs, and trustworthy. He is also one of the most helpful people I have ever met while playing FFXI. While everyone else is ignoring you after you ask for help, he's actually there offering to help. You want to know why he has so many nice pieces of gear? It's because he's shown these qualities and more to others and appreciated all his hard work and dedication. Yeah, it's hard to imagine that people actually get what they work for. Hell, looking over this application is proof enough that he actually cares about being in the LS. How often do you get someone that completely answers all questions in an application or as detailed and is honest about everything? Probably not too often. He's also willing to come as all of his jobs regardless of whether he likes one more than the others. He probably figured people would be pleased with his application and would be happy to offer a home to such a skilled player. That's not the case though, you'd rather have some half-assed application with broken English, slang, and stuff like "I should be here because I know so and so," because we all know that if your friends with someone in a HNM LS you'll get in regardless of how shitty a player you are.

If you really want to get to know someone then that's what you need to do, not leave it in the hands of others who could possibly be enemies of that individual. Because face it, regardless of who you are and where you go, you're going to have or find drama. No one is immune to drama. Based off of how most endgame LSs act you'd think they've had several server transfers who have screwed them over, when the truth is they been screwed over more by people from their very own server.

With all this said, I'd just like to say that Maikeru, or Michael, is one of my best friends in the world and I only want the best for him, so get to know him and give him a chance before laying judgment. At this point though it doesn't matter because people have already made up there mind that this guy did 1 of 3 things: stole a LS bank, ripped 1 or more friends/people off, or bought this account (pretty much sums up all offenses).

And based off what I'm seeing here:

1. this guy ripped off a sad LS because 15 mil gil is pretty low even by today's standards (could have more but doesn't explain why he doesn't have all the best items in game like kraken club, relic weapon, Mercurial Kris, etc; he gear is still lacking).

2. He ripped a hell of a lot of people off and should be pretty nortorious by now, so keep your eyes out for a future 75 BRD/SMN/SCH/SAM/SMN/PUP applicant. Somehow managed to keep ripping people off on the same server or maybe he's been to all servers, which is roughly 4 servers in 1 year. And to think he's had to put up with this application process 4x last year + dish out $100. Doesn't sound worth it to me @_@.

3. This account was bought from someone. We know how much of a crime that is especially when they don't know shit about their job (too bad 30~40% of FFXI players at 75 don't know shit about their jobs and haven't even bought the account).
