fishing penalty

searched for this, didn't find my answer. simple question is how does it work? i think you can only catch 200 fish per jp day is this correct? also can you make a mule and fish another 200 fish on that mule? i made a mule and could only caught 6 fish before it started saying 'didn't catch anything'. then on my main i waited a jp day and started fishing again and i only caught 8 fish before it started saying 'didn't catch anything'. any pro fishermen could elaborate further into this for me?

I know as of recently they put new perimeters for fishing on mules, I think one was having the character active for over two weeks, but I couldnt tell you exactly.

As for on a main, as you pull up more and more fish you will start receiving the "You can not repeat that action yet" or whatever it is, making it so you can't cast your rod as quickly. Then as you near 200 fish, you will start pulling up less and less fish. Then at the cap, can be anywhere from 190-210 (Not always 200) you will just receive the "You didnt catch anything" message over and over until the reset at jp midnight.

With the recent December 2008 Update, when you fish with a job of less than 20, or it has been less than 2 weeks since your first log on with that character, the maximum reeling of fish or items will be 10.
