For those who have sold stuff to people on other servers, how did you do it?

Did the buyer transfer a mule with the gil over to your server then buy it there and wait 3 months to transfer back or was some other method used?

Basically the only way I know of that can be used, it sucks.

Either way someone isnt getting their item/gil for 3 months.

Isn't it 1 transfer/character/3 months? So, couldn't you make 2 mules, one on the server to buy it from and one on your sever, give the gil to the mule on your server, transfer over, buy it, send it to the other mule, and transfer the item on the other mule?

Yeah, this is what I always thought people did for moving items.

I was under the impression that your account only gets one transfer every 3 months. So even if you made a second mule to transfer the funds back to your main toon, you would still have to wait 3 months.

Buuuuut I might be totally wrong...

I have 2 accounts, so used 1 to transfer 1 to bring back, means i had to pay transfer fees twice, but if you got a big gil item that you cant sell on own server, its worthit.

I bought a togi -1 off Terraflarex, and he was willing to let me do it in 1 transfer.

Gives me togi -1 on remora, i have gil on bismarck, transfer both mules, and give him his gil.

not everyone is that trusting though.

I was under the impression that you could do the following:

1.) Create mule on server you are buying the item on (will only be eligible if made before the transfer).
2.) Create mule on your server and put gil on it.
3.) Transfer the character with the gil to the server with the item.
4.) Trade gil for item, and get the item on the character you created there (not the xfered character).
5.) Call SE before 7 days passes to have the character transfered.

It was my understanding that you have 7 days to do additional transfers, it just requires a call to SE.

That doesnt seem to work. The GM basically said "A character for an additional transfer must have been alive since 60 days min"
