First off im aware that there is a topic in tech and an oldy in general, mod is welcome to merge these if they so wish.

Just wanted to let the gaming community that are intrested in purchasing one of these, gamestop has currently opened preorder's for the handheld, link below has the details.

White and black only(the blue is NA exclusive as of now); DSi games are going to be region encoded though so not much point importing unless you don't plan on ever playing the new games on it. I was going to import one of the Crystal Chronicles DSi systems until I found out about the region lock on future games :/

Same. Even though I hardly ever touch my DS anymore, looking forward to picking up the new system

Sweet, it's region-locked and can't play GBA games, just what I always wanted!!!

Sad thing is, it'll still print money for Nintendo.

Won't matter if they utilize the shop channel and the SD card slot to allow people to play VC games they've downloaded on their Wii. *crosses fingers* PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZ
