[Quetzalcoatl] Absolution New HNM LS Recruiting.

Absolution was formed Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from a group of friends mainly from the Odin and Alexander servers. Absolution, a newly formed HNMLS is looking for experienced, well geared, well merited, and dedicated members. Our current roster is around 20 people, but we are still looking for a few more people to fill some gaps.

Absolution will be focusing on almost every aspect of the game including: Ground Kings, Tiamat, Khimaira, Cerberus, Sandworm, Dark Ixion, Dynamis, Einherjar, Sea, Limbus, and some Sky. All events will be mandatory unless told by an officer and skipping events will lead to a /breaklinkshell.

Although events will primarily be in the EST time zone, HNMs as usual will be camped 24/7 and will be camped accordingly. Members must be willing to drop anything and everything to run to Khimaira, Cerberus, or Tiamat. Failure to do so will not be tolerated.

Our Schedule goes as followed:

Monday: Limbus 5pm EST.
Tuesday: Einherjar 6pm EST.
Wednesday: Dynamis 4pm EST.
Thursday: Limbus 5pm EST.
Friday: Einherjar 7:30pm EST.
Saturday: Dynamis 6pm EST.
Sunday: Sea or some other event 4pm.

Salvage groups are encouraged to be formed within the linkshell.

The Linkshell has its own private Ventrilo server and although it is not mandatory it is a huge bonus to allow faster and easier communication. Item distribution will be chosen by the officers who are online at the time based on attendance, usefulness, and attitude towards the linkshell.

Members of the linkshell will be expected to know the basics of HNMs such as how to get to HNMs and how to fight them. Although we are just looking for some more bodies, SMN, RNG, and COR jobs are a definite plus. More information can be found on our forums.

Heh, wasn't the best Tiamat, popped at 5am and we had 7 people from the start and for a LS that has only been going for 1 day I think we did well up until 3% when she decided to be a bitch and do 3 back to back roars on us. Pretty funny how one of the 'most established' LS took it off us for a whole 10 minutes before wiping too

But whatever, a small bump in the road isn't gonna change our determination, see you at next camp!

lol, in all honesty I really do hope you are better than what I saw and I'll wait to pass any judgment, but viewing Aion as one of the "most established" LS would be a rather large mistake.

Well based on looking at the Aery last night, they took Medicineman in from from PP/LN/Aion so don't go hoping for too much...

No offense to you guys as players, I don't know your shell history or what prompted you to move to Quetz, but you might want to do a little more research about who you're pearling.

Looks to me quetz are shitting themselfs. GL Darks and who cares if u died to ur 1st Tiamat with minimal people at 5am? Most LS on that server couldn't tell their elbow from their asshole.

Nah just saying that it seems like a pity that a LS with what appear to be some legit and good people is going to be ruined by recruiting native server trash that's at best no better than what was on their last server. This type of loose-recruiting phenomena is really what has led to the norm of server-transfer LS being cancerous zergish shells.

No offense to you guys as players, I don't know your shell history or what prompted you to move to Quetz, but you might want to do a little more research about who you're pearling.

I've already warned Luk and maybe Renze (IDR) about being careful on who they pearl. I talked to them, seemed like good people, but then again WHO AM I.

Considering most of the people they recruited from Quetz literally dropped their pearl to the last server transfer LS and went straight over to Absolution without what seemed to be the least shred of loyalty I would be wary. In general the pattern on Quetz seems to go like this over the span of the past two years:

The major shells that started on Quetz and have been around for years wax and wane with activity because they have just been around forever and interest/players come and go. A server transfer LS comes over and does pretty good claiming for a couple months or so and then falls apart because internal issues and just a vast gap in skill of a couple players and the mass of idiots that make up the rest of the shell. And when I say pretty good - I mean to claiming alone, the actually fights are just ridiculous to watch usually involving an army of tanks with poorly skilled support that take hours and hours to kill things.

Naturally, when people come to Quetz its usually just filled with drama for them and headaches for everyone else - as an old friend once put it - Quetz: Where bad shells come to die.

The first wipe on that Tiamat may have been due to numbers and bad luck - I wasn't there I am not sure, but the second one was just silly it was at 30% you obviously had the numbers to take it down that far over how long a period of time and then just collapsed for whatever reason. Aion came along without a WHM and managed to simply hold it for a few minutes. Perseverance (see indigenous shell) finally claimed and killed it with 10-13 members throughout the fight about.

As I said to a RDM of yours who I gave a D2 "How many Aegis's does it take to kill a Tiamat?" -- "0". It is just sad to see people obviously well-geared and most likely possessing some skill fail miserably because they surround themselves with selfish, shell-hopping what-have-yous.

Pardon my jaded stance - but honestly its old news here and a warning to the people coming to this server.

That guy starts more linkshells and has been in more linkshells than anyone I know.

And to add to what Mattaru said, we've seen so many shells hop over in mass, only for them to realize that the reason we aren't on BG boasting about our accomplishments is because we're too busy bickering on QCDN (well, i'm not...but I can read the bickering now). We have quite a few competent shells who clean up rather nicely, but I guess SE loves us because they get $50 x however many in a shell jump, $25 for coming over, $25 when they realize this isn't a desolate server.

Because obviously all HNMLSs are perfect and will never wipe? I get how you're trying to prove 510Meeze wrong but be serious, dude, even your LS will horribly at many HNMs in the coming months/years. Just brush it off and ignore it.

I am not in any way trying to start any drama, but pointing out an LS for failing at something when you have also failed at something, isn't really called for. I am not sure if you guys care or not what kind of LS you are trying to be, but you did wipe to a Tiamat a few weeks ago.

As said before, not everyone is perfect, mistakes will happen.

I am not for, or against any of the shells posted, but I just don't like seeing misinformation posted. That and drama is pretty juvenile.
