I find this whole sign to be extremely racist. It shows the disproportion of those of fair skin vs those of "black" skin which represents the aboriginal portion of Australia.

At first we see a picture with 3 kangaroos, upon a black and white background which in itself is racist, 'white and black' is grammatically and politically incorrect whereas 'black and white' is suitable and accepted globally due to the factor of the white being put at the end instead of the start, representing the racial political power of the black people around the world dominating due to years of previous white oppression.

The Kangaroos are shown as two white kangaroos and one black one to show the disproportion of the population, however the black kangaroo is standing on the proper straight horizon which is parallel to the top and bottom edges of the picture, while the white kangaroos are on a slope going downwards, conveying the image that the white population of Australia are in fact lowering themselves towards their own demise.
The black kangaroo, or the "Aboriginal" kangaroo is the only one that is drawn properly at the correct standing angle which shows the fact that the Aboriginal community of Australia do have a path that the white community can not see. There is also another hidden message in this where the black kangaroo is the "Straight" Kangaroo, where the white kangaroos are not straight, infusing the subliminal mind of the viewer with the thought of associating them with homosexuality, which globally can be viewed in negative light (many cultures around the world frown on it), which helps with the message.
Whilst the black kangaroo is being shown as the most proper of all Kangaroos, he has a white light on his skin towards his back and head, showing oppression once again, where the white kangaroos have no visible lights or shadows on their skin, showing their "freedom". The mix of colours on the black kangaroo also portrays a history of rape and violence upon the Aboriginal people during the days of colonisation and settlers.

The Kangaroos are superimposed on a background, the more subtle messanger of the picture, which appears at first equal parts of black and white, however on closer inspection it is clear that the amount of white dominates over the black, representing the hidden agenda of the sign which is to subliminally implant in the viewer's mind that the white people of Australia are suppressing the smaller populace of black people in the country. The fact that the white is on top strengthens this view, as being above represents positivity whilst being below represents negativity.

The artist of the picture may have tried to jest, show humour, and point fun at a situation, but little to the viewer's knowledge, they are in fact being lead on a hidden journey through the political field of ethnic Australia.
