I was wondering if Ob was duoable by mnk/nin and dnc/pup (or if not next option is to mnk rdm pup) and if so which frame should we aim to lock it in and how much difficulty should we expect?

i have my doubts about dnc but i'm sure it's feasible.. not positive if it's ranged is autoland on shadows like zilart mobs though :/

RNG frame is easiest to kill. If 2hrs are allowed, I think that set up should be fine. If not, the RDM added will easily allow you to kill the pet.

Would a COR be able to solo? Using the standard techniques.

Ob is soloable by any job that can use movement speed /PUP. Go in, use a Blink Band + Defense Food (Fish mithkabobs are good Tav tacos are the best.) Buy some Pamama Au' Laits if you are a little worried. Make sure your Automaton is out. Pop it then start running to the porter area (With the two porters.) On your way over there, blink spam Earth or Fire Maneuvers to change Ob into is Valor Edge form (easiest one in my opinion.) Once he has changed and you are in the teleporter area start kitting him in a " ∞ " path like I drew down below (terrible outline inc: )

If you do it right, Ob should not be able to touch you if you blink out all your Boost and Chi Blasts (if you are soloing on MNK.) All you have to worry about is Rage timer. Which can be reset by porting out the teleporter and then back up (hoping if noone is in the zone but you will HAVE to leave a DoT on him because you will take too long to get back.) I've done it before on Corsair and it's pretty simple if you blink out everything.

For duoing I would also suggest locking it into Valor Edge form. A well geared Monk and Dancer should be able to accomplish this. Take meds into account.

Did this twice and actually lost once. Takes shadows pretty quickly with combo of melee/ranged and I didn't want to CS on it for obvious reasons you can't counter ranged attacks
