I am a discipline priest.
I have to LOS CC(JK I have gladius cast bars set to maximum, focus set to large, and spell alerter and I still don't know when anybody is casting anything)
I have to get in melee range to CC(BTW fear is countered by death knights, paladins, priests, warriors, shamans, warlocks and undead) and if I'm snared I can pretty much just give up hope of ever fearing anybody
I have to offensively and defensively dispel
I have to heal(penance, flash heal, shield, mending, renew)
I have to dps(pain, plague, mind blast, death, glove rockets, holy fire, smite)
I have to death sheeps and seductions(JK I can't do that cause I'm terrible and the few times I try to catch it I get caught in a global)
I have to juke 6 different kinds of interrupts
I have no way to break snares or roots
I wear cloth armor
I have the worst mana longevity of any healer
Shadow fiend and hymn of hope are easily countered by everyone
Going shadow doesn't alleviate any of the problems(except fade and dispersion break snares) because I still have to use all of the tools at my disposal. Discipline is a healer spec that also does damage, shadow is a dps spec that also heals

This isn't intended to be a QQ post about priests being underpowered, I just needed to vent a little.
What do you think about the difficulty level of playing a priest?
Why is your class hard to play?
