    You at the final dungeon yet? Farming the mobs before the dungeon closes itself off (i.e. prior to reaching the final boss) can be very profitable.

    ^ This. I screwed around on Pulse for a long while before finally moving onto chap 12. Seems I would have been way better off beating the game, THEN trying for all the missions/gil/grind.
    Just do up to 14, dig a bit, then farm the guys in final areas. Also theres a fix-a-robot quest in Oerba that rewards a nice amount of gil.
