Some sort of instant paleness and other stuff I don't know the words to describe.

About 2 weeks ago I had a problem where my left arm began to be numb (I think that's the word...). My familly has had heart disease problem in the past, and my arm went from okay to wtf is that in about 10 seconds. So my first thought was heart attack. I ran upstairs, it was now in both arms. I had no idea wtf was going so I called 911. After the call I sat down, and it started to be in both my legs now. At that point I was swetting like mad but only my forehead. I turned neon white, and my thumb were getting stiff, as in the were bent without me doing it, and I couldn't move them.

Once the ambulance dudes arrived, they told me right away to start taking slower breaths.
So I did that, and in about 10 mins everything was over. I still went to the hospital to check if I was near or had an heart attack, turns out i'm not even close to having one.
They told me it was "probably" too much Carbon monoxide in my blood, but how the fuck did that trigger..? I mean I didn't stop breathing or exhaling or anything really.

That was a relieve, but I still don't know wtf happened, and it just happened earlier today again, but not as strong because I took slow, deep breaths.

Sorry for the mostly incoherent wall-o-text.

Anxiety. Tai Chi can be very beneficial to those prone to panic.

Qalbert is disappointed because humans don't produce carbon MONOxide. DIoxide, we do.

I think i've proven my ignorance many times in the past. If you can't get over it now, you might have a problem.

First thing that came to mind was a clot, but there's also a chance of a lot of different spinal and neurological problems. Do you have health insurance? Might be good to see a specialist.

I would say someone specializing in spinal problems, but I'm not doctor, I can't diagnose you. Maybe a general practitioner could hear your history and point you in the right direction. I just think your symptoms sound way too serious to ignore.

Maybe you weren't taking deep enough breaths which caused initial numbness and anxiety from that made you hyperventilate causing the rest.

Too slow and very deep is as bad as too fast and shallow.

Shit like this makes me want to switch professions... but then I actually get to save someone every couple of weeks... and there is no way I could have a 'normal' job.

So if I get you right, you're a doctor and you facepalm when someone thinks he has something but he actually doesn't? Do everybody a favor and quit your job.

Wow, you're a pretty shit medical professional, if you ARE actually a doctor of any sort. Where do you practice? I need to know so I don't ever wind up near you.

Glad to see this time i'm not being trolled for finding him insanely stupid. Why would someone EVER join a profession in the medical field if they're not willing to put up with people in uncertainty of what's going on with their bodies.

Yea some people have hypochondria, that doesn't mean we all do.
