Japanese snack BBQ Chicken rice crackers

So a friend went over to Japan on a business trip a month ago and brought back tons of snacks but one that stood out was this rice cracker (I believe that's what it was) from this restaurant in Japan. I guess it was their special seasoning on a rice cracker and they were delicious but he only brought one pack home. I've been looking for these since but I can't remember what they were called or if they were even a rice cracker. Can anyone help me find this delicious snack?

Oh there were also these chocolates and one of the flavors was maple syrup and pancakes if you all can help me find that one too. The chocolate came in an assortment of others.

Japanese snacks have a nasty habit of being made only during a certain season then never coming back, don't get your hopes up too high.

Unfortunately I do not have a picture... I can tell you that it was black with a bit of white and the chip was I guess redish (Or the powder was).

Good luck with that, prolly never find it - Japanese snacks come in so many fucking flavors and seasons that it's hard to find anything with any amount of regularity. Another annoying thing is import stores tend to change their stock A LOT, so something that was carried for months might just disappear one day (had so many good things disappear like that...)

One thing a friend brought back from japan that I loved was sakura mochi, but I think it's only sold during cherry tree time, which is when she went. I only got one piece but omg it was good. Can't wait to someday have it again.

Yeah, I had a friend send me some of that it is good Silenka. Actually, I can ask him if you want. He normally sends me a gift box of goodies every 2 months or so. Dunno when I get a response cause he is out of town for the week doing family stuff, but I can still ask him anyway

Sakura mochi is regulary made for japanese grocery stores, if you live near a Mitsuwa you're set.

Is there a good place to order Japanese snacks? I've found a couple places on Google but really don't want to risk getting scammed.

I better check my local Japanese import store first (I haven't been to the one in this town yet) though I bet they won't have it.

I've ordered pocky from them a few times, a lot of times they will have low stock or be out of something though. Haven't ordered anything else from them but I assume it's fine, they seem nice.

If you're actually from Nooksack, WA. Just head down to Seattle or cross the border into Vancouver. Lots of Japanese stores that sell Pokey, Rose flavored Kit-kat and other JP junk.
