NDS users, assistance required :(

So I was cleaning my room when I found my old NDS (with R4) and decided to give it a try again. The latest game I had downloaded before abandoning my NDS was Chrono Trigger and I just recently put 31 goddamn hours into it, a real blast lol

Now I'm wanting to play some old games I was into a few years back (Etrian Odyssey, XX/XY, Professor Layton, etc) but apparently I deleted my old NDS ROM Folder, and the site that I used to download ROMs from seems to have closed down...

And on top of that, R4 is no longer supported? I've just spent the last 40 minutes searching up good rom downloading sites along with something called 'wood r4' but really, it's so much more complicated than how I remember it to be...

If an old R4 user that's still playing out his NDS could give me some tips and directions, I'd be much obliged!

PS: And oh, of course... what are some (lots) of good games that came out after Chrono Trigger DS? lol I only know of Pokemon White/Black and the Kingdom Hearts 35something 8)

r4 still works great. you'll want the firmware from here http://www.r4wood.com/pages/Wood-R4-Kernel.html

It's not hard to setup. basically delete the crap on your r4 now. extract the WoodR4 Kernel V1.27 (3-15-2011) file to the root of the disk, then also the R4 DS YSMenu V6.54 file.
when you boot up the ds, select the ysmenu.nds file or whatever it's called and it'll load the ysmenu software, pick your game from there. it's super easy.

as far as finding roms, I usually get the packs of 100 as they come out from kick ass torrents.

If you browse around the forums you can pretty much find every rom you'll ever need, I havent had to look elsewhere so far (I have a CycloDS and an Acekard2i)
