Randomly came up with the idea to see if a party/alliance could pop multiple NMs of the same type at the same time now. And well, it works. Pop´d 3 Draguas (no idea if there are more than 3 ???s) and Cataclysm brew´d them.
Next step: pop the whole zone, pull to brewer, brew away. Posting link to youtube video for authenticity purposes in a few minutes if people care enough.

If people allready knew this is now possible or don´t care flame/lock/delete.

why wouldnt it be, although this goes against why the extrapops were added - bottlenecked nms and such. brewing makes it notsobad at least

Yes, this was one of the big issues people were having about the update, as much as people would think this would help lower congestion at the ??? for popping NMs. It would also allow bigger groups to pop multiple NMs and monopolize the ??? with just having 1 person brew all the pops.

You could basically have a group of 3 handling the ??? areas while the rest of the group cleaves the chest for KIs and camps the NM, and rotating them around keeping the area locked down for a majority of the time with an *organised* group. However if you're brewing all 3 the best case scenerio for other people is that the group will be done much faster and atleast you dont have to wait aslong, if its not the case they I guess youll have an angry group waiting for your group to kill either mob first..

Atleast this would help people get done faster thus having them leave the areas faster in turn freeing up the ??? areas and camp.

Either way SE can only do so much for the community before the playerbase finds a loophole to use it to their advantage.

If my hypothetical group can pop 3 NMs at once, we get done three times as fast as before. There's still gonna be less bottlenecking going on for that reason alone, unless there is something really off with my thinking at 2am.

Auto sorting isn´t really that much of an issue unless people in your group still really need +2 items. If your group is there for Empyrean upgrade items simply pull everything to the brewer, have him AoE WS once to get hate and then disband so shit falls to him.

A few days ago my group in Attowah chasm had one party killing Ulhu, while someone else was off killing an NM for key items. Both groups ended up procing grellows (more by accident than intention), and both NMs died at around the same time, and I distinctly remember an Ulhu fang auto-sorting whilst armor items staying in the pool. The main reason most people will be killing these NMs is for weapon items, so it's something worth keeping in mind if you plan on AoE killing multiple NMs. I can't remember the exact drops, but we were all a bit "wtf" that fangs had lower prio in the pool than coins and such.

oh dont get me wrong, i agree there. and its definitly not something that would always be happening im sure. its just the immediete lineup would still be there. im just stating, really.

What group can get 3 KI (assuming its 1 KI NM like dragua) in 1 min seriously... worst you can think of its ally of 18 ppl that wil be there for about 30 min (6x 3 pop + some can get few more pops while rest is brewing). Also assumign some very organized group of about 12 ppl that will spam. You need 75 items thats about 50 pops and thats about 17 rounds with one round taking 90 sec (1 min recast ??? and 30 sec killing) so 25 min an they are done. Groups of 12 ppl making empys are very rare tho. Usually it's 3-6 ppl.

Honestly the most interesting part of this entire thread is that I learned an AOE WS can proc discernment on multiple NMs.
