ROM281 Question, Odd behaivor

Ok first off sorry if this is the wrong area to post this its kinda an odd question. My McAfee security scan has been taking ridiculously long lately, im talking 3-4 days to scan, so I tracked down the problem and it seems that inside my FFXI folders folder 281 and 282 repeat themselfs at least 15 times and hold all the same information inside each folder. Has anyone ever had this happen or know what exactly I can delete, or even if there is a way I can get just folder 281 and 282 somewhere? atm the path looks like this-
PlayOnline > SquareEnix > FINAL FANTASY XI > ROM > 281 > 281 > 281 > 281 > 281
and this goes on and on with the same information inside each folder, it also occures for 282.

Mine do not do that. It seems something about your install is messed up. You might try deleting those folders and doing a file check?

I got a friend in game sending me his folders, ima delete mine and use his should hopefully fix the problem, i'm just confused on how that happened.

McAfee sucks, stop using it. Microsoft Security Essentials is better and free.
