Google is your friend for this one.
Googled for you - if you're using something like BitTorrent or uTorrent, enable outgoing encryption.
This is such a useless response for nearly every topic it gets posted in. He clearly has no clue what he is doing or what options he has, so he is looking for someone who understands his problem and has experience with some. You could google this and get a bunch of hits, but does that mean X program is good? Maybe there is a better one? That's why you post on forums; to get input from other peoples experience.
@OP : For torrenting, Peerblock seems to be the standard to run while you're downloading whatever. Blocks know trackers/government IPs.
I use Peerblock myself.
I use PeerBlock as well... works well for me.
Peerblock does not stop your ISP from seeing what you are doing. You will need encryption for that.
ty for the input, ive been using PeerGuardian but I don't see that it will really work if a place already knows your IP. How would i go about getting a encryption?
for some reason bg wont let me edit my post so how would i go about geting peer block to load @ start up?
