Droid Incredible 2 - Background Noise Filter

My girlfriend recently got a Droid Incredible 2. She's mostly satisfied with it... except that the call quality sucks. It sounds like she's talking into a tin can or something.

The options I see are:
1) Call quality on the phone just sucks
2) Something is wrong with her phone (the Verizon people don't think so)
3) The background noise elimination filter is over aggressive.

I'm betting on option 3. Does anyone know how to change it?

Try this:

Go to Phone and Dial ##778
Choose Edit Mode
Password is 000000
Go to CDMA Settings
Scroll all the way to bottom
Change Home Page, Home Orig, and Roam Orig from EVRC to EVRC-B
Hit Menu and Commit Changes


If it doesn't work change it back.

This seems to have worked, thanks. I think we're going to need to play around with it a little, because now I can hear myself echoed through her phone when I talk, but it's at least better call quality than it was.
