Square Enix Store shutting down

Before anyone jumps on me and says it's temporary, the JP site has had an update stating that they are just going to shut the whole thing down, saying:

What's more, due to concern, this site is ending its online shopping service.

Looks like this is the end of getting FFXI goods for the foreseeable future. Hope you got the pens and keychains and dolls you wanted.

I went to buy a Chocobo for my friend's baby last month and the site was down cause of "hackers". Surprised they're taking it down period... ;o

Considering that they still have another store front (http://store.na.square-enix.com/stor...isplayHomePage), it's doubtful that a permanent closure would mean anything. Whatever was sold elsewhere can just be relocated. The site may change, but the goods haven't magically vanished.

Sorry for asking here, but that store doesn't seem to have too much merchandise listed.
Right now, are there still official sources for stuffed toys of Mandragoras? When I visited my family a few weeks ago, my mother thought they were cute (actually irritated her when I made mine fight another), so I figured I could get her one for Christmas.

As of right now, anything that isn't listed in the store above is not available. So no, you probably won't be able to get one of those pillows unless you use ebay or use a proxy.

The rings from the 3 nations? I've had the San d'Orian ring since 2007 and I wear it daily(holy fuck I'm a nerd) and I clean it once a month or so. They are made out of sterling silver so they do require some care on occasion. I just polish it or toss it in a silver cleaner, takes half a minute.

I've heard bad things about the Windurst and Bastok ones but I didn't exactly want to drop $300 for the full set especially because the Windurst one looks ugly as fuck and I didn't really want a RL astral ring. I've heard from people that the gems fall out of the Windurst ring and the Bastok one is painted and that it flakes off. Thankfully the San d'Orian one is just carved so there really isn't anything to get fucked up on it except scratched and dented since it's sterling silver. Mine looks like it's been through some wars but it's still shiny.

I might as well add this to my post since I didn't get any responses a few months back in the BST forum; did anyone buy any extra goblin/crab pens or 3 nation keychains with the moogle cap code? I don't even know where else to look and surprisingly nobody has sold any of them on ebay either.

Looks like that hack was more serious than originally reported.

I just bought two keychains for myself and my wife. I used mine, but she hasn't played in years. I will pass along the code, I just need to find the damn thing first.
