I just got rid of my 1997 Acura Integra LS with a GSR swap.

I don't have a camera on me or I'd take a picture of my own. Mine is the same model but darker blue, and the antenna is much shorter. I'm a fan of the fairly powerful engine mixed with the practicality of a small wagon.

On topic: My restoration (1975 BMW 2002) is going slow, been out of the country for the last month and haven't been able to touch it. Engine is back in and 90% of the interior. Started programming the fuel injection maps, but PC died halfway through - she'll be running once I get a replacement!

An old coworker of mine had a 2.5 RS (same year and colour as yours) and dropped a GC8 WRX STi motor in it. He took me for a ride one day and all I can say is "fucking awesome". He added a few other mods including a HKS turbo-back exhaust and a Tein coil-over suspension - as well as pretty much gutting the interior and adding a full roll cage.

Unfortunately, the engine management wasn't set up very well so there were issues with the AF mix and it ended up getting stuck in limp mode a lot.

Nevertheless, it's an amazing swap and the closest you'll ever get to a 22B STi (which I love, especially the 2-dr body)

I think it's very interesting how the motor, well, there are thousands of parts that work together to achieve one thing: convert energy from one form to the other. I don't know, I've always loved the physics behind it all. ;x

Mugen, something else you may want to think about with your new car is entering it in Rally races. Not necessairly full-on dirt/tarmac rallying, but there are lower grades of point-to-point rally racing that can be a lot of fun. They take place on closed public roads and sometimes rural/logging roads, and you are given a calculated time at which you are supposed to complete each stage in. The speeds aren't very high, usually at or slightly above public speed limits, but the challange to the team is to drive consitently for your given time. It's a great way to get into racing, especially rallying, and doesn't place the stress on your car like track days or even Auto-X can.
