BY ALL reasonable standards, Escape From Tomorrow shouldn't exist. Filmed in the shadows at two theme parks - without permission - this is one smart, scary and daring flick.
Written and directed by first-timer Randy Moore, Escape From Tomorrow represents an example of what some film industry insiders call "guerilla filmmaking".
On location at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California, without obtaining any filming rights from the Disney Company, Moore and his rebellious cast and crew shot snippets of what would become a dark, noir Sundance hit.
The film is ostensibly a family trip to Disneyland gone wrong.
According to the film's synopsis, and indeed a very promising trailer, we can expect: "paranoid visions, bizarre encounters, and an obsessive pursuit of a pair of sexy teenage Parisians"
