Company Gear aesthetics question

So, looking at the list of gear available to purchase, I'm unsure what falls into what "set"... I mean, do they all look the same regardless of level? So a level 20 something boot will have the same model as the higher level one?

I'm basically not looking to waste much seals but at the same time would like to know in advance so I can have a set of vanity gear available for the vanity slot thing.

EDIT: I understand there seems to be 3 distinctive looks, a mage/cloth one, a medium one and a heavy one, but haven't grasped it fully yet.
