Heh, sorry. I searched Gaming Discussion and didn't check the SE specific board.
Poor Arc, so hated by SE that he just gets named as the generic RDM
Also fucking happy FF gets a TCG, was a few days ago bitching about how dumb Hearthstone looks to me, then admitted to myself that if FF came out with a card game as well, i'd be all over that shit! Definitely gonna collect these when they come to the states.
I literally got the exact same comment about Arc on Reddit, but unless that was somehow also you, here's the explanation why:
They make multiple versions of generic job classes like that for FFIII, and put various characters in the card image. But the icon in the upper right indicates this is a "Generic" character not a "Named" one, so multiple can be in play at once unlike named characters.
Example:
Same Character on Two Jobs:
White Mage - Ingus http://www.square-enix-shop.com/jp/f...img/1-043c.png
Summoner - Ingus http://www.square-enix-shop.com/jp/f...img/1-047c.png
Same Job with Different Characters:
Dark Knight - Ingus http://www.square-enix-shop.com/jp/f...img/1-048c.png
Dark Knight - Luneth http://www.square-enix-shop.com/jp/f...img/1-049c.png
Therefore all of the above cards can be in play at once.
The English website is now live after their opening demos at MCM London ComicCon. English rules are available, but not much else besides some sample art.

Awkward, potentially problematic and occasionally just bad translation. This is really disappointing for a professional effort.
And where did that Kain come from? There's no card like that in the original game!
