Need some advice switching GPU's

I am switching my pc over from a radeon gpu to nvida and was wondering if there was anything that I needed to do before I switch them besides uninstalling the drivers and putting in the new ones for the nvidia card? I have windows 7 so I hoping I just removed the old GPU and drivers and install the new one. Thanks

I would use Ccleaner to remove the info from registry. I think there is another popular program to use for permanently deleting driver information but I'm unsure off the top of my head.

The driver installers should have options to uninstall if you run them again, or choose uninstall from the Programs and Features page.
