I'm not against it but I feel like the Halo Remaster in the MCC was kinda already pretty good, but it seems they're pulling a Halo 2 Remaster with enhanced/new Cutscenes and maybe some additional small tweaks like the Skulls they mentioned and new weapons.

Its nice of them to include split screen, probably knowing damn well they would burn this to the ground if it didnt have it.

Pretty sure this is just a glorified tech demo for the new UE5 Halo game they're also working on.

They've already confirmed that it has updated mechanics to be more in line with the newer halo titles and that there are changes to some of the later missions. There's also apparently some new missions that take place before the games story, which would place them during Reach I guess. Overall they stressed that it's a remake not a remaster so we will see how that pans out.

Part of me hopes there are some changes but at the same time idk I like the goofiness of warthog jumping with grenades? But judging by the video idk if there will be significant upgrades to gameplay itself which is why I thought you know… the MCC still exists.

thats cool but, the newer Halo titles are not really modern in terms of gameplay. We will see.
