2:30am .... after 5 hours of trying to gather a party, wandering through the damn Castle Zehsgjnwwhatever....

We finally come to the doors... we enter.. and some of the greatest Cinematic Scenes I've see thus far plays (I hear CoP blows everything outta the water later).

11 minutes later... the shadow lord collapses to his knees, after a harsh blow from Tachi: Koki... all is silent...

Sorry, I'm sure alot of you are way ahead of me and are like 'Shadow Lord? pshh' but I am happy because this is the furthest I've ever been adn wanted to share my newbish joy.

Most fun I ever had in this game was duoing shadow lord with my bud Chakros, 75 sam and 75 monk.

Took about 2 minutes because of ice spikes paralyzing hundred fists a little. Good times.

I remember killing the Shadow Lord... it was a pretty sweet fight. The plot twist was kind of neat too.

If you thought that was good, go to Norg and prepare to have your mind blown. FFXI's real "story" begins for you now.

My Shadow Lord went like this.

PLD/DRG/BLM/BLM/WHM/THF

We're at BC entrance.

Thf: "zomg, i can't get into the BC"
Blm: "ZOMG, ME NEITHER WTF I HAD TO TALK TO SOMEONE?!?!?!"

PLD(me)/DRG/BLM/WHM go in.

AoEs come, PLD/BLM/WHM dead.

DRG solos 40% of DL.

WIN!

lmao when I did shadowlord everyone told me he spammed aoe on 2nd form, but omg....I didn't realize it was the only thing he ever did.
