1 Question I guess I have for BG, Lets say my LS is doing Jorm and for tanks we have 1 75 PLD/nin and another guy that's 75 NIN 75 PLD. Which job should he go 75 NIN to help support the PLD/nin or should he go PLD/NIN to make 2x PLD/NIN tanks only.

Endgame 80% is about opinion

I seen Tiamat die with PLD/NIN tankes only but ls that did it had a hard time with good hate control....I seen it better done with 1 NIN/war & 1 PLD/NIN tank.

My question was basically what people perfer to use...I am sure some ls like to use 100% PLD/NIN only on wyrms, Or what people normally have easier time with.

I'd have to recommend KillingIfrit, etc... as sad as it may sound there aren't a lot of good places for new players to go and discuss strategy.

This forum in particular is more of a "current events" forum for FFXI, with some great groundbreaking research threads thrown into the mix. It's a good place for linkshell leaders and fulltime players to head to and discuss stuff over the heads of the average player. The stuff you are asking can be found with a search, or common sense.

Jorm is considerably more difficult than Tiamat due to Triple Roar spam.


This is irrelevant for you however, as you kited Fafnir for 15-20min, and didn't get it below 97%.
