Log in problem

Okay kinda weird, i got dc'ed while zoneing was taken back to log in screen i chose my character and everything looked like it was going ok, normal load but when the screen goes black(before you see your character and are logged on) it never brought me to my character the screen just stayed black and plays the menu music till i get an error, couldn't conect to FFXI server..

Went out came back a few hours later turned everything on went all the way to the same spot and the same problem is still there to my surprise.. I even tried logging in with my mule but the same problem

Any of you guys know what the hell is going on!?

You forgot your multipass?

If you are using a router and modem type connection, you need to flush your router. Unplug the router from the modem, then unplug the modem's power. Wait 5 minutes, plug in the modem FIRST, wait till the light saying you have connection is up and then plug in the router. That happens to me atleast once a month and that's the fix that works for me.
