Not really, but it takes skill. There is practically no time between a perfect, OK, and a miss. Osu Tatakae Ouendan will be coming to the US soon, but you can import it without knowing shit for Japanese and still have a good time (and probably a broken screen when you spin it).

Its an awesome game. I can't beat Ready Steady Go on the hardest difficulty though. I swear I'm going to break my stylus and screen trying that damn stage. I can't wait for the US version, Elite Beat Agents.

edit: as long as you have a screen protector, I doubt you will really scratch or damage the touchsceen.

It's a rhythm game. If you don't like them then it really isn't for you. Tap along with the beat, drag for some notes, spin for spinners. In the same way that guitar hero is just hitting the right note or beatmania is hitting the right keys.

I have it imported and I will sy hands down it is one of the most fun games for the DS. I've had it for about 6 months and my screen still works perfectly... the only way you would break it is if you got mad and threw your DS, the game itself wont break it.

A game that breaks stylus' however... mario hoops 3 on 3, fuck that game, I've broken 2 stylus'

NDS is the only system I ever buy games for now. Children of Mana comes out October 30th, and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin comes out in December <3. Both are Wifi enabled, but CoM has more of a multiplayer variety.

Also, Maple Story DS will be Nintendo DS's first MMO. There's talk about players being able to play with PC users. (Still free, to answer future questions).

I've never played maple story, but I'll probably get it just because it's a handheld MMO.
