    Games for Wii

What games do yall like for the Wii? I'm getting kind of bored with Wii Sports playing alone and was thinking about getting some new games. I was thinking about the new Dragonball one just because I was once a huge fan. Anyone played it and liked it/hated it?

What other games do yall like and why?

Nice, Excite Truck sounds intersting. Does it use the Nunchuck? (lol I have no idea how to spell it but yall get the idea) I love that thing and am secretly hoping for a Star Wars/lightsaber game... or a Harry Potter lol. Just something about yelling out "Crucio!" in a fraternity house makes me laugh.

I heard those same things. I'm planning to buy a wii this weekend to help distract me from college work but if I buy any games, I've heard Rayman is a must.

I'm guessing if I had an order, Rayman, Excite Truck, Zelda. I put Zelda last because well, everyone else has Zelda :3

-Zelda because it's Zelda (And a HUGE Ocarina of Time fan-service.)

-Trauma Center: Second Opinion -- because it owns.

-Rayman -- because it's a lot of fun (and is hilarious too.)

-Excite Truck is rather fun too.

Now, as far as a party game, Warioware and SSBB are coming out soonish, but I found Super Monkey Ball to actually be pretty fun.

Games to avoid: REDSTEEL, omfg. Most annoying POS ever. I know that Nintendo has been pushing it very hard, but it's a medicore game at best... the controls are extremely annoying and you will find yourself spending hours and hours just trying to figure it out. Oh, and the Katana duels are nothing more than a regular fight game, and they kind of just HAPPEN at random and make no sense. (the Wiimote doesn't take your exact directions either, it just kind of randomly slices your enemy like Zelda does.)
All in all, I played it at a friend's house and wasn't impressed. I wouldn't pay for it.

Mario, SSBB, and Warioware are future games that you should get too... that's about it for now really.

Thanks for all the info. I just found a Wii yesterday and am looking into buying new games for it. Wario sounds awesome, Smash Brothers will be ridiculous (I still play the one on N64). I'mma go check out Rayman and Excite Truck today.

Zelda : TP - Because its frickin ZELDA

Rayman : Evil Rabbids - Great for when friends are round... just watching people go nutts really.

NFS : Carbon - Controls give you an entire new feel to racing. (Drifting has hit an all time high in this game)

Red Steel - It is alil rough around the edges but I have really enjoyed it all the way through.

I have a copy of Monkeyball I havent opened yet... but I have heard this game is pretty awesome when you have friends round.

That is the new release date, it was pushed back several months a few weeks ago.

IGN, Gamespot, and EB/GS all sport that date.

    Zelda ~ Given.

Rayman ~ Picked this up with the console as well, and while it is a lot of fun at times, the appeal has kind of tapered off as of late.

Elebits ~ I put this in the "Oh... what... the... hell? Craziness!" Category, with Katamari type games.

Red Steel ~ I Gamefly'd this, and it was back in its envelope and in the mail 12 hours later. I just couldn't handle its meh-ness.

Fishing in Zelda ~ Because i get so sucked into it it may as well be its own game!

Yea, only reason I ask is that I never remember Nintendo themselves ever putting a date on this.

Isn't there a wheel accessory for the Wii? (where you plug your wiimote in the center of it and it acts as a wireless wheel?)

It would be pretty awesome for Excite Truck... I just saw it today at EB but I wasn't sure what it was.
