Cool as that looks, it wouldn't be practical as a replacement for the conventional keyboard/mouse interface- I could see this being a great tool for some industries (EoC, fire/rescue/911 callcenters, graphic design), but for the majority of people, this is "something cool to look at, but counter-intuitive to adjust to it on a day-to-day".

That said, it's bad-ass, and just another step on the road to interfaces like those in that crappy Tom Cruise movie. :D

You are either a complete retard or can't fathom the potential of such an interface. This is 10x better than a mouse keyboard because your hands become the direct movement makers, and you can still type by using an on screen keyboard that could possibly predict and move as our hands move.

iirc he said something like, "Why should we still be bound to physical interfaces like Keyboard and Mouse?" In reality, the touch screen is all that's necessary.

as someone who does a lot of photoshop work and 3d modeling i would love to have a device like that. right now the best thing i have is a wacom tablet which i love and use all the time but this goes way beyond that and would be so fun to use.

Looks really cool, and I was thinking how this would be so awesome for digital artists, and then halfway through they showed him messing around with a character.

It looks really easy to use too, but I bet it's actually quite difficult to understand all the little parts to it. I can imagine this is the "blackboard of the future" though in nice/rich universities. Very, very cool at the least.
