They knew it was going to fail. Why else put it out there with less than a year and a half to go before we elect a new president? Comedy Central is probably just using it as filler until they come up with something better for the slot later this year.

I really enjoyed That's My Bush... sucks they canceled it. I lived for the 8 consecutive episode reruns for awhile.

Yeah, definitely something I noticed too. It seems like 9/10 shows that come out are horrible and fail in the first season, but the ones that last are generally very good. I think CC is a bad network in general (like, switching out SNL for Mad TV), but itattracts a select few good shows that make it worth watching.

I liked how That's My Bush was more of a show that depicted him as a nice guy, but just made dumb, funny mistakes. Like any normal sitcom you would watch on tv. However Lil' Bush seems to be full of just the same, dumb, unfunny cheap shots against Bush and his cabinet that American Dad had going for it.

I'm not a Bush supporter, but honestly, we had heard all these dumb anti-Bush administration jokes months ago from John Stewart.

Amen. I used to be able to turn on Comedy Central and catch SNL with a good rerun of a Christopher Walken or John Goodman episode, now it's nothing but unfunny jokes about living in South Central LA.
