PSA - Photoshop color settings

I've seen several people post screen shots recently that appear extremely dark. Since I had basically the same problem when I started tweaking FFXI screenshots, I thought I would share how I fixed the problem.

Photoshop has an internal set of color / contrast / brightness adjustments. For me, it was defaulted to a setting that made my graphics appear bright and vivid, but when I viewed them in a web browser, they appeared dark and dingy. If you would like to turn off Photoshop's internal color adjustments (i.e. match how things will look in an internet browser), here's what you do:

Select Edit > Color Settings...

In the Settings drop-down, make sure you have Monitor Color selected.
