I'm trying them now and my mouth is salivating and it sucks. I don't want to swallow this shit and if I try to spit it down the stips come loose off my teeth. Fucking soda and wine and the occasional smoke have ruined me. Gah.

Used them for a couple of weeks and I have to admit they worked pretty well.

Yeah whitestrips are ok for your teeth, which is what this topic is about, not other whitening strips. For the OP, yes they work well. I used them like half a year ago and my teeth are still really white. Love those things.

Peroxide is a mild bleach, you are bleaching your teeth. Bleach isn't 100% safe, bleach isn't 100% healthy. Bleach can eat away at your gum enamel. Some dentists will warn you that it may be unsafe for your teeth if you have sensitive teeth, some dentists won't even do a whitening to some patients because of this. They have to inspect your teeth to make sure they can even do the procedure. You are bleaching your teeth, just like when you get peroxide on your skin it can turn your skin white. Coming into a thread and telling someone their enamel is going to rot and to enjoy is a fucking stupid thing to say. If you can't figure out that's why I'm giving you attitude then you're dumber than I thought.

Like I said, keep your petty arguments off of the forums and put them in PM's if they are so important to you. I think you realized that crest whitening strips are a product to whiten your teeth, which is why I spoke about whitening products. I said "he" because I thought the op had a different user name, whoops, no big deal. Some products will eat away at your enamel, next time i wont be sarcastic with you since obviously you freak out over it.

late edit: I didn't wan't to make another post, but what toothpaste do you use? And mouthwash? Whitening strips will help some but what you eat, if you smoke, and your other hygenic products can change your teeth drastically. I've had a few friends and patients that use whitening products and they only helped so much(even though they did help), but in the end the main factor was actually Rembrant. Get the "intense stain" one, even if you dont have so called "intense stains." If you use it 2x a day for a couple weeks you will notice a huge change. Your skin tone will help too, not sure if you're white/tan/black but if you go tanning your teeth will look even whiter. Act is probably your best bet on mouthwashes. Listerine has alot of alcohol and flouride is king.

Why don't you just do an in-office bleaching? I did it and even though my teeth were sensitive for a couple of days afterwards, it only took an hour to go from A2-3 to B1.

It's alot more expensive though, isn't it? I think the point of products you can get at a pathmark/shoprite/target is that you don't spend much. The products there can be 30-50$ even with that though, I guess it's still saving money.

How much did you pay for it exo? I know you're a rich boy lol so maybe it wasn't much to you, but it could be to others.

Yeah but don't you have to keep buying those 50 dollar products over and over? it probably takes more than one or two packages to get the color you want.

And my bleaching was 300 dollars including the trays they made for me along with the product itself which you use to retouch every year or so... and seeing how you suffer much less than you will with constant strips/trays, it seems like a good price. Plus the dentist I go to loves money way too much(even though his work is worth the price..) you could probably do it for less.
