Was interested in this movie. Coulda sworn I saw something on it here, but I think it was in the thread of movies people are looking forward to.
So, thoughts? Worth it or no?

See it expecting nothing but guns blazing and it may be one of the greatest movies ever. If you expect anything more it will suck ass.
Aaaa Thank you. I tried searching for it, but got a ton of ranger threads
Anyone else see it? Not much said in that thread ;3
It was one of the best movies like... ever. Don't expect it to have a great plot, view it for what it is, a shoot em' up and you will love it. Absolutely amazing (and I am VERY picky when it comes to movies)
The movie doesn't actually have any plot until like 2/3-3/4 of the way through the movie, and at that point, the movie is too awesome for you to care.
It's a huge action scene, and its totally awesome.
I just watched it because of this thread and now I return to tell you... See the shit out of this movie. So awesome.
My gf got free tix to this movie after I brought it up. Will check it out, and tell you what I think :D
If your girlfriend is a girl, don't take her to this movie. Unless she's absolutely into boy stuff. This movie was so effin' awesome, I could barely contain myself afterwards. My girlfriend said she thought it was okay, but in that way that you know she was horrified that boys could like such a thing. Don't try to associate any realism with the movie. Trying to rationalize this movie destroys what it really is: The Guy Movie of the Year.
She liked Crank, I think >.>a We saw it together in a group before we got together.
She got the tfree tix, so it's not like I can say thx babe! Then take off with the homies XD
My girl also liked Crank. In fact, she's the one that recommended I see it. The difference, I think, was Crank was a little more reasonibly realistic. Also, in Crank, he wasn't holding a baby for 9/10ths of the stunts & gun fights. But I thought that was part of what made Shoot 'Em Up so damn cool.
I think sometime this week we'll go see 3:10 to Yuma.
Was a great movie, some of the scenes (like having sex and killing FBI agents at the same time... I thought he was gonna roll off her but no, he carried on fucking her...) were so amazing and creative it makes you go "did he really just do that?!"
Don't expect a plot though, it's amazingly bad, but in a very humourous and funny way, like a good B movie.
