    Experience Chart

I searched the forums and the Wikipedia entries, but I couldn't find any specific information on how experience gained from fights worked. Anyway, I had an interesting thing happen with my level 45 monster. At level 43, my experience gained against the level 50 champ went from the usual 100 to 75. I also noticed that the comparison text changed from the usual of "the champ won't have any problem defending its title" to something about how anything could happen. I went from 43-45 getting 75 a fight, then I started getting 5 experience a fight. I noticed the champion had changed, but it seemed that with as much pruning as had happened on my server, anything below at least 49 was highly unlikely to win. I got 5 experience two fights in a row, so I thought to look up information on this and found out there wasn't any, so I'm going to maintain a chart to show how much experience is gained from winning or losing against a relative level. Please share any information you get and I'll fill it in. I'm going to go by the assumption that 8 or more levels in one direction is about the point where no difference between levels occurs.

    Wins:

    -8 or lower = 5?
    -7 =
    -6 =
    -5 =
    -4 =
    -3 =
-2 = 100 (got it as a level 11 winning against a level 9, so not sure if any chart too much higher is necessary)
    -1 =
    0 =

    Losses:

    -2 = 5 (rematch with level 9, he won)
    -1 =
    0 =
    +1 =
    +2 =
    +3 =
    +4 =
    +5 = 5?
    +6 = 75
    +7 = 75
    +8 or higher = 100

Once I get on next, I'm going to see if I can get a duel with someone I know to be level 50 to try and confirm if losing to a monster 5 levels above is only worth 5 experience.

I've gotten as much as 125 from a single match, when my level 9 Acrolith beat a level 11.

I was going to do something like this but it's not as simple as I originally thought. For winning vs a mob and a given level differnce I have gotten differnent amounts of exp. Might be a different chart for various level ranges.

For example when I beat a mob 3 levels higher (I think it was my 6 vs a 9) I got 125. Then another fight my level 15 mob got 100 exp for beating a level 20 mob.

All seems to be true if you win:

1 level higher still gives 100 exp, same with 1 level lower.

2 levels higher gives 125 exp, 2 levels lower gives 75.

4 levels higher gives 150? exp, 4 levels lower gives 50.

6 levels higher gives 175? exp, 6 levels lower gives 25.

8 levels higher gives 200? exp, 8 levels lower gives 5.

If you lose then it's different. 1 level difference gives 5 xp, 2 levels higher gives 25 xp, 4 levels higher gives 50 xp, 6 levels higher gives 75, 8 levels gives 100. If you win I think its winning XP divided by 2.

Sadly I never beat many higher then me, but that should be right.

They're about right... it seems to change every 2 levels on the even level.

Not sure what the cap is, the highest I've beaten or drawn with is +6.

Thats about right. It would also be possible to level a chigoe to 50, drop all defenses, and then use it to powerlevel your friends when its a low time where theres 10 minute waits. The lose and get 100, or possibly win and get 200. win/win.

I've beaten a mob high enough to give me 150exp.. I wasn't around to check the level difference though.

    Re: Experience Chart

I added the chart to the wiki. However I never beat anyone higher level so I am making assumtions based on the model so far. It's probably right though, just lemme know if you see something proving otherwise.
