wotg content wont be active till just before midnight est if that. possibly looking at early thursday morning whihc is the 22nd. god people need to learn to read lol and stop askin the same questions in 45gazillion threads lol

Sorry, thought I had read every thread on BG about WoG, not seen any info about when WoG goes live or about the missions.

WoG 1 I would speculate would involve checking a cav maw.

checked one with the expansion installed, registered and all the updates that followed, still says "Nothing happens.."

There's a maintenance scheduled for then. It will be active as soon as it's over and the servers come up.

Taking that with a grain of salt, but yeah. There it is.

Edit: If you guys remember from ToAU release, they did a global system message to the effect of "OMGZ we're releasing the expansion online in an hour!", then once it was released you just had to log out and then talk to the dood who gave the boat pass. I assume it will be similar this time around, rather than a maintenance.

I called a GM and asked and for some reason he wouldnt tell me exactly when he just said late afternoon early evening today not the 22nd so take that for what its worth

Does the WoG expansion disc for the 360 come with a ffxi uninstall utility in any way shape or form? Friend killed his 360 disc and doesn't use the 360 version, but plays on PC, so if i bought him that i could get the reg code from that, he could uninstall and i could give him my PC reg code when it comes in.. thanks for any info /

Its alrdy the 22nd in Japan. so when it goes live during teh day for them, it will be live tonight for us.

Babelfish translates the JP one to say Approximately noon for activation, which is exactly 1 day after the Registration Page for WotG went up. There is no reason to believe it'll activate at any other time than 7pm PST.

If you can read Japanese, the WotG Registration Info on the JP POL site says that it will begin at approximately noon JST, which is 7 PM PST / 10 PM EST. This coincides with the timing of the ToAU launch, and will probably be within 30 minutes, give or take, of this time.
