Smokescreen bug?

The description says to go to an orcish stronghold and join in the siege. Ok.

I go to Eldieme and wait about 10 minutes for a battle to start. It's the only beastman area in the game (the rest are all nation controlled, lol). I beat up wall for a while then go back to sandy.

He evaluates my report and tells me I failed... Any ideas?

Wasn't there someone in the Campaign Ops section that said they had to go through like 5 or 6 campaigns before they finally won this one?

When I did it I stayed until the end of the battle and got the reward for not only the battle, but for the mission as well. Did you leave before it was over?

Were you doing Smokescreen I or II?

I did Aegis Scream II which is the same mission, only on the defensive side of things, and like I said in the campaign ops thread, it took me 4 or 5 participations in a defensive campaign for it to register.

I did one fairly long one in Jugner Forest before the Campaign talley the other day, gave me credit. So maybe it's based on how much you contributed?

Did Smokescreen I last week, seems just need to attend any battle in beastman controlled area, maybe really hit at least one mob.
Was like warped to Meriphand Mountains, got tags, and then had time to cast only 1 nuke on some Yagudo.
Moment later it was finished and I've got limit points both for campaing battle and ops mission (you'll see it clear in the log).

I waited until it was over. I didn't get xp in the log so I thought it was kind of strange. Was I supposed to just spam capaign there? I didn't touch any mobs though, as it was Eldieme and that place is gay.

I did get 850 xp and 600 AN from beating the wall though, so I didn't half ass it.

I did Smokescreen II the other night & I talked to the Ops NPC after I finished the campaign and he failed me. I think you just have to keep doing the Campaign until you get that extra little bit of exp. to know you successfully completed the mission.

Hm...maybe you need to get a certain amount of xp from battles. When I did mine, I got 1000~1200 for the campaign battle, and then immediately afterwards got the 90 for Smokescreen with a message telling me to go back to the NPC. Same with Aegis Scream: battle ended, got 1100 xp for battle finish and immediately 110 and the message for the mission.

I did smokescreen today for windy, like 10minute campaign in the fort and got it, did it once before as well and only took 1 try then to.

The level 2 defensive/offensive ops have a quota you have to fill to win. If you go back to the Ops desk before you fill it, you fail. Also, you get the EXP and credit for winning when your tags wear off, you don't need to talk to the CA.

Obvious question, you are from Sandy, right?

I encountered the same limited options for beastman controlled areas, except I'm from Windy and the only beastman area was Garliage.

I went there and camped the NPC before Campaign, stayed there the entire time, and got credit for winning at the end... around 800 XP or so. I'm pretty sure if I'd gone to a beastman area run by Quads or Orcs I wouldn't have been rewarded for completing the Op, as it appears to be nation specific.

Edit: Mine was the level I one... have yet to try level II, although a XP & AN minimum sounds like a likely culprit.
