Vista, FFXI, problems, etc.

Ok so, got a new PC and vista is pre-installed, so yay.

Anyway, I've installed all like 9 disks of my original FFXI and then uninstalled POL and installed the vista POL. POL.com says; install vistaPOL then install game, but does this really matter? Anyone had to go through this that can fill in a bit of light?

Also, the FFXI config utility doesn't work and I'm trying to find fixes for this on the internet; all i can find is "oh i updated and it works fine". Updated POL? or updated POL & FFXI and then it works?

Any lolvista help with FFXI would be appreciated, cheers.

Did you actually try running FFXI at all? I don't see that mentioned in your post. If you did and it's not working, what is happening?
